Job Overview:
As a Snowmobile Tour Guide, you’ll lead guests on exhilarating rides through our vast private ranch, ensuring a safe, fun, and educational experience. If you love winter, adventure, and working with people, this is the job for you!
What You’ll Do:
- Lead guided snowmobile tours across our 8,300-acre ranch, taking guests through breathtaking scenery and diverse terrain.
- Provide safety instructions and operational guidance before each tour to ensure guests feel confident and comfortable.
- Educate guests about the ranch’s history, local wildlife, and landmarks along the trail.
- Monitor trail conditions, weather, and guest safety, making real-time adjustments when needed.
- Assist guests with gear and snowmobile operation, ensuring everyone is properly equipped.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on snowmobiles as needed.
- Respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies or unexpected situations on the trail.
- Create a fun, memorable experience for guests while maintaining professionalism and safety.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience operating snowmobiles and leading outdoor tours (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of winter safety and survival techniques.
- Ability to work in extreme winter conditions for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations.
- Physical ability to assist with snowmobiles and help guests as needed.

- Employment dates: mid-December through March depending on snow conditions
- Work Hours: Seasonal, part-time, full-time, full days, half days. Weekdays, Weekends, Holidays
- Wages: $15 – $17 per hour plus tips
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Attendants are responsible for evaluating & maintaining safe conditions of the tubing hill
- Must have CPR and First Aid before starting
- Provide safe, controlled, and friendly guest experience
- Understand varying hill conditions & take appropriate action to keep a safe environment
- Stop tubing operations & communicate with guests in a friendly manner if unsafe conditions exist
- Communicate to supervisor if unsafe conditions arise
- Make sure all signage is posted visible
- Be courteous with guests loading & unloading in the lift line
- Provide friendly instruction of loading & unloading tubes on the rope tow
- In the event of an injury, contact supervisor & assist as needed
- Check guest tubing tag times & effectively communicate bus departures & ticket time endings
- Monitor lift line operation
- Watch for tubers at base of hill, communicating to guests to avoid collisions
- Maintain snow levels on lift line, watching for ice & collision hazards
- Act as an Ambassador for Saddleback Ranch by greeting guests and keeping a positive attitude
- Complete daily log & operations inspection checklist
Physical Demands/ Work Environment
- Majority of job duties are outdoors, often in inclement weather, must be willing to work outside in winter conditions
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for extended periods of time
- Reach, bend, lift and willing to shovel, rake, and clear snow and chip ice
- Navigate snowy or slippery terrain
- Willingness to be flexible with working days, evenings, weekends, some holidays based on business needs
- Work in a constantly changing environment with emphasis on guest safety & satisfaction

Job Title: Class B CDL Snow Tubing Hill Bus Driver
Location: Steamboat Springs, CO
Job Type: Winter seasonal (Mid December – March)

Job Overview:
We are looking for a Class B CDL Bus Driver to transport guests safely to and from our snow tubing hill during the winter season. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fun, fast-paced outdoor environment while prioritizing guest safety and exceptional service. As a key part of our winter operations, you’ll help ensure guests get to the tubing hill safely and enjoy their experience with peace of mind.
What You’ll Do:
- Safely transport guests between designated parking areas, lodges, and the tubing hill in all winter weather conditions.
- Monitor guest safety around the tubing hill by ensuring proper loading/unloading of passengers and keeping an eye on pedestrian activity.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service, answering questions about tubing rules, resort amenities, and safety guidelines.
- Assist guests as needed with boarding and exiting the bus, including helping with tubing equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus to ensure it’s in good working condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws at all times.
- Communicate with dispatch and other resort staff to ensure smooth transportation operations and respond to any safety concerns.
- Help maintain a clean and well-kept bus and report any maintenance issues.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsement (required).
- Safe driving record with experience operating commercial vehicles in winter conditions.
- Strong awareness of guest safety, especially in high-traffic tubing areas.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor winter environment.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to assist guests with loading/unloading as needed.
- Previous bus driving or resort experience is a plus!
