Horseback riding on Saddleback Ranch is a perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Colorado scenery, take some gorgeous pictures, and learn about the cattle. There is an excellent chance of seeing wildlife on this horseback riding excursion near Steamboat. Our team at Saddleback Ranch will make sure you have everything you need to have a fun ride!

Please Note

  • Minimum age: Six years old
  • Weight limit: 240 lbs.
  • Single riders only – NO tandem horseback rides.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time
  • Rides will start on time as we have to keep the schedule
  • Reservations are required to guarantee that we have horses available

1-Hour Ride

  • Offered Tuesday – Saturday
  • One-hour horseback riding adventure times are 8:30am, 11am, or 2pm

2-Hour Ride

  • Season: May – October
  • Offered Tuesday – Saturday
  • Two-hour horseback rides at the ranch are at 9:30am or 1:30pm
